R-404A is a “near azeotropic” HFC blend, especially developed for commercial, industrial and transport refrigeration.
R-404A is used for new refrigeration units for supermarkets, refrigerated cold storage rooms, food refrigeration systems, cabinets for the storage of refrigerated food and for refrigerated trucks.
HFC R-407F (performax LT)
Performax LT is a zeotropic blend of HFCs, intended for low and medium temperature commercial refrigeration applications. It improves upon and can replace R-404A in new and existing installations.

R-407C is a non zeotropic HFC replacement blend mainly used as a replacement for R-22 in air conditioning applications.
R-407A is a “non azeotropic” HFC blend.
It can be used in medium and low temperature commercial refrigeration applications where R-22 or R-404A may have traditionally been used.
R-410A is a near azeotropic blend mainly used in new air conditioning systems.
It is used in small power air conditioning and industrial refrigeration sectors.
HFC R-417A (FreonTM MO59)
R-417A (FreonTM MO 59) is a zeotropic HFC replacement blend.
This refrigerant is intended as a direct replacement for R-22 (HCFC) for air conditioning applications. FreonTM MO 59 is also suited as a direct replacement for R-22 used in existing direct expansion systems.
R-134a is a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) designed for domestic, commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, as well as air conditioning systems, liquid refrigeration systems and heat pumps.
R-134a is used in large chillers and by car A/C and agricultural manufacturers. May be used instead of R-12 in existing systems if a conversion procedure is followed.
R-22 is a “hydrochlorofluorocarbon” refrigerant with high latent heat of vaporisation used for domestic, commercial and industrial air conditioning.
Used at low temperatures (up to -40°C), R-22 is also suited for refrigeration and deep freezing. In energy saving applications, it allows the production of heat pumps with average temperature heat sources (55°C maximum).
R-124 is a transitional ” hydrochlorofluorocarbon”, its use being limited in time by the Montreal Protocol. This HCFC is particularly suited for air conditioning systems placed in high temperature environments and for energy saving applications.
R-124 is mainly an alternative for R-114 (CFC) used for the realization of new systems in order to protect the ozone layer.
R-227 is a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) designed to replace R-114 (CFC), which has not been manufactured in the European Union since 31.12.1994.
Particularly suited to A/C equipment in high temperature environments, high temperature pumps and thermic sensors.
R-236fa is a hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HFC) which can be used instead of R-114 or R-124.
R-600a is a hydrocarbon, classified as highly flammable, Typically used in domestic refrigerators and small cabinets with hermetic compressors. See regulation EN-378 for the conditions governing its use in refrigeration applications.
R32 is a low GWP “hydrofluorocarbon” (HFC). It is an A2L Refrigerant meaning it is mildly flammable. It is used in small split Air Conditioning systems where the charge size complies with the requirements of EN378.
It is not a retrofit option for other AC systems running on other refrigerants. It is also used as a component in both HFC and HFO blends.
